GIDIANS BIBLE - (BLACK) 1969: THE GOLDEN VOICE RECORDINGS (10") (10"/ALONA'S DREAM)

Gidians Bible got their start in the fertile 1960s Illinois music scene. During their brief existence they recorded five heavy psychedelic originals at Golden Voice Recording Co. This EP features all their songs: two from their sought after Golden Voice 45 and all three of their other unreleased cuts. Includes insert featuring unseen pictures and written history of the band!

RYPDAL, TERJE - BLEAK HOUSE (LP/ROUND 2)

A vinyl-reissue of the debut solo-album by Norwegian guitarist Terje Rypdahl. Recorded in 1968, 'Bleak House' marks Terje's departure from psychedelic group The Dream to explore further territories. (He would later become one of the most respected instrumentalist in European jazz.) 'Bleak House', which was recorded with Jan Garbarek, Knut Riisnaes, Jon Christensen and Christian Reim (The Dream), blends contemporary composition with modern jazz and progressive rock. This reissue comes with remastered sound, taken from the original tapes.

MILKY WAY GAS STATION - SOMEWHERE/ANYWHERE (CD/SELF RELEASE)

'Somewhere/Anywhere' is the debut-album by Milky Way Gas Station, a progressive rockband from the Netherlands. Fans of Pink Floyd, Steven Wilson and other progressive artists will definitely embrace the group's musical diversity, ranging from straight-in-your-face rock guitars to quiet synth-filled atmospheric songs. This work features musical input from keyboardists Joakim Svalberg (Opeth) and Jan Peter Bast (The Scene), and background vocals by Lana Wolf and Sanne Jonges.

GARAGE/BEAT/SURF/ROCK’N’ROLL

TOBY TWIRL - TOBY TWIRL (LP/MEGA DODO)

SHINDIG! - NO. 70 (Mag/SHINDIG!)

Shindig issue no. 70 contains features on a.o. Crystal Tipps & Alistairs, Jean-Jacques Perrey, Travis Pike, Steve Marriott, The Action, Lovin' Spoonful, The Byrds. REUTERS - WE ARE FROM HU (BLACK) (LP/NOIZE HUNIT)

The Reuters have earned their tracks in music for many years and in several ways already, for example with groups like The LoveBurns, The Indians, The Other Persons and NoBody Lotion. We are dealing here with a bunch of old-school punk inventors who have always practiced the DIY attitude. They call their style 'punkadelic psycho rawk', so listen, they are worth it! Black vinyl version.

VARIOUS - SUMMERTIME: JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF A SONG 3 (10"/STAG-O-LEE)

Stag-O-Lee presents the third volume in a series called 'Journey To The Centre Of The Song', celebrating one song at a time, and its many guises and interpretations. Written by George Gershwin and his brother Ira for their opera 'Porgy & Bess' in 1934, this song has become part of the American Songbook and been covered in many styles and genres. From Rodney & The Blazers' upbeat surf'strumental shaker to the sweet and soulful Sam Cooke, from the rock'n'roll stroller by Rick Nelson that inspired Deep Purple's 'Black Night', to the latin-infused intro by Edmundo Ross. SIDE 1: 1. Troy Walker 2. Rodney & The Blazers 3. Mack IV 4. Ricky Nelson 5. Gatemouth Brown 6. Ronny Hawkins SIDE 2: 1. Jimmy Randolph 2. Gene Vincent 3. Tommy Navarro & The Sundialers 4. POP/ROCK/WAVE/NOISE

REAL NUMBERS - FRANK INFATUATION/LEAVE IT BEHIND (7"/MARKET SQUARE)

This 7" comprises some of the best elements of Minneapolis' Real Numbers' unique blend of lo-fi punk and pastoral pop. Fans of Television Personalities, The Times, Sarah Records plus a number of obscure powerpop and post-punk groups from the early '80s cannot fail with this 7". Limited to 300 copies housed in a risograph fold over sleeve. Includes an insert in yellow or blue.

SHIFTERS - A BELIEVER/CONTRAST OF FORM (7"/MARKET SQUARE)

A fantastic single by Australian lo-fi punks The Shifters. Combining a love of scratchy guitars and weird artists, The Shifters are one of the current new wave of groups emerging from Australia who have a cool and unique vibe and sound. The group sound very similar to fellow antipodean's from New Zealand's Flying Nun Records and in a way The Shifters are a modern interpretation of that Dunedin sound, but are one of the highlights of an emerging talent festering in Melbourne's underground. Fans of The Fall, Postcard Records and a host of other post-punk and new wave groups will fall in love with this great 7". Limited to 300 copies housed in a risograph fold over sleeve.

FOOD & MONEY - 1979-1982 (BLACK) (LP/ALONA'S DREAM)

Springfield Illinois' Food & Money formed in the waning years of the 1970s. Not content with the ubiquitous middle of the road FM radio rock of their peers, Food & Money played absurd, funky, socially conscious, sarcastic new wave and were pioneers of weird in the mostly conservative Midwest scene. This anthology collects Food & Money's entire discography into one release. This album includes their sought after first 7" 'Economic Bullies' (1980). It also includes their only other proper release, the live cassette 'No Loafers' (1982) and six unreleased bonus tracks.

PUNK/HARDCORE

ANXIETY - WILD LIFE (7"/LA VIDA ES UN M)

Here Anxiety draw more on an industrialised take on Crass Records' back cat and falling-apart HC, continuing the abstract moroseness that defined their debut.

BAD BREEDING - DIVIDE (LP/LA VIDA ES UN M)

The band's second full-length in less than a year. Some moments remind of mid-'80s Icons Of Filth, others of Killing Joke, and most of the album sounds somewhere in between. A download is included.

EXOTICA - MUSIQUE EXOTIQUE #02 (LP/LA VIDA ES UN M)

This music sounds live, like Exotica could have trickled off of the back half of an abandoned Cólera riff on a lost practice tape, or if your favourite Arroganta Agitatorer EP dub melted in the sun on the roof of your apartment and fused with whoever was practicing piano on the floor underneath you.

GLUE - GLUE (LP/LA VIDA ES UN M)

Glue didn't really have to get better, but they have. With barely 25 minutes of recorded music to their name-spread across a demo, an EP and a tour tape, the appetite for the band's distinctive take on hardcore had hardly been sated. However, this foray ups the ante in all respects, not only pushing against the edges of their sound in the ways you might expect when a band releases its first 12" record, but also by taking the things they already did well even further. Listening to Glue has always felt like youre standing next to a ticking time bomb, but something about this latest recording with its noisy, everything-in-the-red mix makes the band sound even more explosive. However, once you get past the immediate, visceral thrill that this record inspires, you'll be able to appreciate how Glue are expanding upon the primal beats and weirdly circular, almost psychedelic take on hardcore riffing that has made them stick out from the pack since the beginning.

LIMP WRIST - FACADES (LP/LA VIDA ES UN M)

It has been nine years since their last release. Limp Wrist brings you 11 trax of complete punk faggotry, not for the weak at heart. Comes with 40 page booklet containing lyrics, photos, and submissions from invited artists.

RIXE - COLLECTION (LP/LA VIDA ES UN M)

This collection neatly compiles Rixe's first 3 EPs on one album. All 12 cuts have been remastered for maximum volume. Rixe appeared from nowhere and went from strength to strength over the two years since the debut EP 'Coup Et Blessures' was released in February 2015. The EP was their calling card and harked back to the glory years of Bologna's finest Nabat mixed with the classic '80s French Oi! sound. It was instant and loved by all and went on to have six pressings. A year later came 'Les Nerf A Vif', another four tracker with extra bite and bile. The third EP 'Bapteme Du Feu'is precision Oi! with a pop element that's built to be loved now and in 20 years. Joined together the 3 EPs make a perfect album and proof that why Rixe are Oi! royalty in 2017. Comes with A2 poster by Matt Bellossi and artwork by Nicky Rat.

UNA BESTIA INCONTROLABLE - METAMORFOSI (LP/LA VIDA ES UN M)

Since emerging fully-formed at the end of 2012 Una Bestia Incontrolable have opened up a place for themselves among the very best hardcore-punk bands in the world. International hardcore is in rude health at the moment but while some indulge in enjoyable well-crafted genre exercises, a crushing mosh-part here, a studied d-beat there, UBI have developed a sound that's compelling and punk, but clearly apart from the autophagic morass that is often punk in the internet age.

NURSE - DISCOGRAPHY 1983-1984 (LP/LA VIDA ES UN M)

Back in 1983 Tokyo's The Nurse released what probably is the first Japanese all female hardcore record on the cult label Incest Records. A red 7" flexi which showed 4 innocent looking girls on the cover but displayed an unheard amount of ferocious hard hitting hardcore punk on the 8 song EP produced by Baki of Execute/Gastunk. The following year the almighty ADK Records added them to their roster releasing a 5 track EP produced by label owner Tam of Typhus/Stalin fame. The speed went down a notch but the rawness and aggression was still there. Sadly that record marked the end of The Nurse's recording career.

METAL/STONER/HARDROCK

KING HOWL - ROUGAROU (BLACK) (LP/ELECTRIC VALLEY)

King Howl's 'Rougarou' features 10 tracks of blues fueled-booze soaked rock'n'roll. The essential patterns of blues music are mixed here again with a strong rock'n'roll attitude, that pushes the composition more to the side of '70's classic rock, without denying the reference with other important influences like stoner rock, late '60s proto-punk and psychedelica. Presented on BLACK VINYL.

PROCESS OF GUILT - BLACK EARTH (LP/DIVISION)

Mixed by Andrew Schneider (Unsane, Cult of Luna, Cave In) and mastered by Collin Jordan (Wovenhand, Eyehategod, Minsk), 'Black Earth' builds upon 5 intense tracks, more scorching than anything Process of Guilt have done before. Steadily moving through dynamic rhythm changes, the band explores a more diverse vocal approach, mantra-like grooves, a crushing rhythm section, an everlasting love for feedback and more huge riffs than you can ask for in under 45 minutes.
